Hello and welcome my fellow foodies!

I might be stating the obvious, but I can’t help it; I love food! I started off as my grandma’s little sous chef at five years of age; cooking has been a part of my life for a very long time.

I remember at the age of 10; I made my first full meal by myself. I made two sunny-side up eggs, bacon, grits, and toast for my great-grandfather; I felt like I was on top of the world that day! Even though I made the grits and bacon in the microwave, the fact that he loved it is all that mattered to me. Ever since then I couldn’t stay away from cooking; the kitchen has always been my domain. Writing is a passion of mine also running deep into my early childhood days; which is why food writing is my love and my therapy. It’s my thing.

From cooking alongside and helping some of the older cooks in my family, I have learned many tips, tricks, and techniques along the way. Cooking is such a joy to me, and I love sharing it all with you!
