My first Yelp Elite event took place at Q Bakehouse in Ann Arbor, and it was an experience to remember! The Mr. and I were excited to check it out, and it turned out to be the perfect introduction to Yelp events for me.

Detailed Review

Walking into Q Bakehouse, I was immediately struck by the friendly and inviting atmosphere. The place was buzzing with people, but the layout made it easy for everyone to move through quickly without feeling crowded. Even though I couldn’t try the cake they were offering due to my food allergies, I was excited to browse and see what else they had.

I ended up buying a few things, and let me tell you—the apple soda is a must-try! It tastes just like sparkling apple cider, and I’m already out of the three cans I bought. 😋 The staff at Q Bakehouse were cheerful and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience.

A special shout-out to the coffee they served—I’m usually not a fan of coffee, but this one changed my mind. With an orange juice rim around the glass, ube syrup, creamy oat milk, and a dusting of cinnamon, it was unlike anything I’ve tried before. I also loved that they had a selection of the owner’s favorite childhood snacks and sweets, which added a unique and personal touch to the store.
